At Bestow, sustainability is woven into everything we do. From our ingredient sourcing to our packaging choices. We use only the highest quality ingredients, with the majority being organic. When organic isn’t possible, we work with ethical suppliers who share our values.
When it came to packaging, we explored options like glass and cardboard, but both presented risks to product safety and stability, especially for our delicate essential fatty acids.
We ultimately chose HDPE plastic:
- BPA-free and completely opaque to protect product integrity
Lightweight and safe for food products
The most commonly and easily recycled plastic in NZ - To give your Bestow containers the best chance of being recycled, rinse them clean before placing them in your recycling bin, there’s no need to remove the label.
