Mamaku fern gel A prized native New Zealand botanical with renowned regenerative properties. Supports healthy cell renewal, boosts moisture levels, and helps defend the skin against environmental damage. 

Kōwhai flower extract Rooted in Māori herbal tradition, kōwhai is exceptionally soothing and nourishing. It helps calm inflammation, restore balance, and bring comfort to reactive or sensitised skin. 

Marshmallow root Rich in natural mucilage, marshmallow root delivers intense hydration while softening the skin's texture, calming sensitivity, and helping to restore a healthy skin balance. 

Aloe vera Cooling, soothing, and rich in antioxidants. Aloe vera supports hydration, helps maintain skin firmness, and brings immediate comfort to stressed or irritated skin. 

What's the difference between the Soothing Serum and Soothing Oil? The serum is water-based, delivering calming, anti-inflammatory ingredients directly into the skin to treat redness and irritation. The oil is lipid-based, sealing that hydration in and helping rebuild the skin's natural barrier. Used together, the serum treats while the oil protects — apply serum first, oil second. 

Can I use this with other skincare products? Yes, though how much you can layer depends on how sensitive your skin is at the start. Compromised skin has less capacity to process complexity than healthy skin, so if your skin is particularly reactive, keep it simple. Begin with the Serum and Oil together for a few weeks and let your skin's response guide you. If it feels settled and calm, you can gradually introduce other products. If not, return to the Serum and Oil until your skin is ready. 

How long before I see results? Many people notice reduced redness and irritation within one to two days. For deeper, lasting results, use alongside Bestow's internal formulas, Omega Glow and Beauty Complex, to strengthen and rebuild the skin from within. 

How long should I use it for? Use the Serum and Oil together exclusively for a minimum of three months, or longer if the skin is significantly damaged. 

Who is it suitable for? All sensitive skin types, including skin prone to acne, rosacea, eczema, and perioral dermatitis. For best results, use with The Graces Soothing Oil. 

Why apply to damp skin? Damp skin seals moisture into the upper layers, keeping skin calm and resilient for longer. Skin bathing first primes the skin to absorb and retain everything that follows. 

How will I know when my skin barrier has healed? You'll see it. Redness will calm, skin will feel soft and plump rather than tight and dry, and blemishes and inflammation will be noticeably improved. 

What products can I introduce once my skin barrier has healed? Introduce one new product at a time and let your skin guide you. If it reacts, return to the Serum and Oil until it settles, then try again. 

Cleanse
Massage one pump of a gentle cream cleanser or The Graces Soothing Oil into damp skin and remove with a warm, damp cloth to dissolve makeup, sunscreen and daily buildup without stripping the skin.

Bathe
Immerse your Bestow Bathing Cloth in warm water, wring out excess water, and gently press onto the skin for five deep breaths. Repeat three times to soften the skin and encourage deeper hydration.

Hydrate
Massage one to two pumps of The Graces Hydrating or Soothing Serum evenly over the face to restore hydration and support overnight skin repair.

Treat
If using The Graces Brightening Lotion, apply one to two pumps now to help refine skin tone and support a brighter, more radiant complexion over time.

Moisturise
Immediately massage one pump of The Graces Nourishing or Soothing Oil into the skin to lock in hydration and replenish the skin barrier overnight. Alternatively, finish with your usual moisturiser.
